Welcome to the Practice!
The mission is to provide quality counseling services in an atmosphere that
is friendly, pleasant and efficient.
The primary clientele are adolescent and adult males who are seeking
services pertaining to a variety of concerns including: oppositional defiance, conduct problems, addiction, internet
pornography addiction, compulsive behavior, aggressive behavior, ADHD issues
and struggles in character.
Interventions are behaviorally-based and solution-focused. Family work is
strongly encouraged when possible.
Medication Alone is Only Part of the Solution
Perhaps you or your loved one is receiving care from a physician who
prescribed medication to assist in the abatement of symptoms of a particular
behavioral disorder.
This clears a path for continued growth and offers a chance to move “out of
the rut.”
Medication helps one’s ability to make choices. However, extra assistance is
sometimes needed to build the skills necessary to avoid or manage
problematic behaviors.
Counseling can help prevent a relapse back into the condition that needed
medical intervention. ADD/ADHD, substance abuse/dependence and other
compulsive disorders co-occur and may require specialized attention.
A course of brief solution-focused counseling may be appropriate. Sessions
are tailored to meet each client’s needs. Consultation with referring
physicians is also used as a core component to the counseling experience. Individual, group, marital and family counseling are offered.
Counselor-Client Relations
Communication is vital to providing you the best possible care. Special
efforts are made to explain everything to you about your (or your child’s)
treatment. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask for
clarification.
Appointments, Fees and Confidentiality
Your time is valuable thus, we maintain a prompt schedule.
Fees are within the customary range for the Southlake/Colleyville areas and
reflect the level of care you will receive and the high level of
training/experience of your counselor/ therapist.
Payment for services is asked for at the time they are rendered. Payment can
be made by check or cash. You may file your own insurance.
Please note that this is a fee-for-service practice. This office WILL NOT
file your insurance for you. Remember, this office is a third party and the
agreement of the insurance company to pay for your services is a contract
between you and the insurance company. You are ultimately responsible for
